Active since the late nineties, JULIE’S HAIRCUT is a band from Emilia, northern Italy, devoted to spacey, hypnotic sounds. The band’s music has evolved in time, through a series of albums and EPs, from the garage-rock soulful energy of their debut towards more experimental grounds, reaching a kaleidoscopic eclecticism that spans rock and psychedelia, from electronic to minimalism, with echoes of jazz, ethnic, dub and drone music. They have been making music with Damo Suzuki, Sonic Boom, Philip Corner, Valerio Cosi and more. Their new album 'Radiance Opposition' is released in November 2025.

SNAKE ORANGE CAKE is the project of Åland-raised, Berlin-based artist Julia Carlsson, working in the shifting space between spoken word, experimental electronics, and emotional memory. Using voice, looper, sampler, and synth, she builds fragmented soundscapes where language dissolves into rhythm and texture — intimate, and quietly resistant.
Her debut EP Lucid (2026) unfolds as a fluid, dreamlike cycle shaped by intuition and process. Destroy//Exist describes her work as “an individual artistic perspective, which prioritizes the method as well as the result, and uncovers brilliance in the space between them”, while Turtlenek names her “an artist to watch!” — capturing both the depth and emergence of her practice.
Live, Snake Orange Cake becomes a ritual of layering and erosion — voice as instrument, words as material, sound as a space where memory distorts and reforms in real time.
