DRUNK AT YOUR WEDDING (Electric Folk / Indierock, Berlin) - RECORD-RELEASE - 

DRUNK AT YOUR WEDDING, benannt nach einem alten Bill Callahan-Song, ist das Projekt der Berliner Singer/Songwriterin Nina Töllner. Sie mag kratzbürstigen Indierock und traditionellen Folk und hat einen ausgeprägten Sinn für düstere Erzählungen und trockenen Humor. So schlagen die Songs von DaYW immer wieder überraschende Haken, pendeln zwischen laut und fragil und betten eingängige Melodien in ein Schattenspiel aus Moll. Das Album „I Have to Go Home“ (2021, Bohemian Strawberry) erntete freundliche Worte von u.a. Spiegel Online, Rolling Stone, VISIONS und Kaput Magazin. Im November 2023 erscheint mit „Ghost Gear“ das dritte DaYW-Album. Es schert sich noch weniger um klassische Strophe-Refrain-Strukturen, tritt dafür häufiger aufs Verzerrerpedal und fischt in menschlichen Untiefen und den poetischen Eigenheiten der englischen Sprache.

Beim Record-Release-Konzert im Schokoladen am 15.11. gibt es die Songs von „Ghost Gear“ im seltenen Trio-Format zu hören. Yay!

LOVNIS (Psychedelic Rock, Brazil/Berlin)

LOVNIS is the Brazilian psych-rock group formed by Murilo Sá and Amanda Longo, who have been dedicated to creating and releasing music and videos since 2020. Highly influenced by 60's pop music and Brazilian Popular Music, they have developed a unique and vibrant sound, along with an exceptionally energetic stage performance. LOVNIS has released five singles to date, always accompanied by self-produced music videos. Since 2021, the group has been based in Berlin, where they recently expanded to a trio with the addition of Putti on the drums. They continue to deliver powerful concerts, establishing themselves as a significant presence in the local music scene of the city.
