Good evening everyone, and welcome to M:Soundtrack presents with Viic Woods [Sweden] + Casafungo [HH]

Tonight, (02.Oktober) we’re bringing together two acts from two different places — Viic Woods from Sweden and Casafungo from Hamburg — but there is a beautiful common denominator between them.

Both make music that feels intimate and atmospheric, somewhere between indie rock and folk, with a real attention to songwriting, emotion and space. There’s a warmth and vulnerability in both projects — music that doesn’t necessarily need to shout to draw you in.

Casafungo are an emerging trio from Hamburg, bringing together warm, folk-inflected indie rock, honest songwriting and a kind of dreamlike intimacy.

And later we’ll hear Viic Woods, the solo project of Swedish musician and visual artist Victoria Skoglund. Some of you may know her from Audrey or Mire Kay. Her new work moves into deeply personal territory, exploring time, coexistence, fragility and our changing relationship with the world around us.

So tonight is really about listening, discovering, and hopefully finding connections between two different musical worlds.

And because it is Friday night, we are definitely not sending you home when the concerts finish at 10! Afterwards, DJ Duo André and Jim Avignon (some kind of happening/wddim) take over for the late-night part of the evening — somewhere between DJ set, party and happening.

Viic Woods is the solo project of Swedish musician and visual artist Victoria Skoglund, a well-established voice in Scandinavia’s alternative music scene. She first gained recognition with cinematic post-rock band Audrey and indie-folk duo Mire Kay, with whom she toured extensively across Europe and beyond, and made impact with music featured in the acclaimed Netflix series Dark.

With Viic Woods, Skoglund takes a new, personal step. Atmospheric, dreamy indie-rock carries stories about time, coexistence, fragility and ecological change, combining lyrical presence with musical depth. Her live performances, solo or with a full band, create an immersive, dynamic experience for audiences. The debut EP The Water Between Us was reissued on vinyl in the fall of 2025 followed by the full-length debut Unravel Time (February 2026), both on the new label and creative platform ABCX.

Casafungo is an emerging indie rock trio from Hamburg, Germany, creating a sound that feels both nostalgic and strikingly immediate. Blending warm folk-inflected textures, honest lyricism and a rare sense of musical intimacy, the band creates songs that linger somewhere between dreamlike atmosphere and raw emotional clarity.
